Now sorry for another thread but all i want to say is
that maybe the meeting was to call Rafas bluff. I think i remember that he has used the fact other clubs are interested in him to get what he wants so maybe the Yanks wanted a back up plan just in case? or they wanted to say well if you go we have someone lined up (dont play those games with us sort of thing).
i think it makes sense to do that if you where in the yanks shoes
For the record i want the yanks out. Though not too sure that DIC would be any better. however i hope they would. they tend to be more in the background which is closer to the liverpool way
plus it will be sold as a business. that is correct. unless we want a roman then we need to be commercial and the key to making the club more profitable is to invest in it to build it up to make more of commercial opportunites
