    Torres, Babel, Crouch and

    another(striker obv) i'd happily have as our strike force next season.

    Without wanting to slate Kuyt here but he needs selling in the summer, in his first few months he looked a quality player but since then it hasn't quite happened for him. His confidence is at an all time low and it's not even as if he's missing a ****load of chances, he's not even in the ****ing box to get on the end of balls coming through and from out wide, sooooo frustrating

    I'm still a little reluctant to write Veronin off completely as he's only been here a few months and hasn't been all that bad but i still don't think he's up to the required standard.

    Babel will eventually end up as a striker and i could see that happening from next season. he's gonna be some player.

    Torres we all know about and i think it would be very, very foolish to get rid of Crouch, he blends in well with our other strikers, provides a great option and will get us a few goals.

        i'd say torres babel plus two more. crouch is not ggod enough either for me, his height is his biggest disadvantage, we can get strikers in that are either big and strong and much better in the air etc and we can get much better creative strikers as well. his time is up imo, he's almost as frustrating as the other two crappy strikers that we have...

          Very foolish to keep Crouch IMO considering we would get 8m+ if we flogged him.He would be very easy to replace.Just keep Torres and Babel and buy 2new strikers.

            Sorry, Veronin has proved himself as totally useless and I can't see that changing any time soon.

            A blindfolded Phill Babb in a pair of flippers and a sumo suit would have more of a chance of scoring than the Crow.

              I'd agree in principle but if we're bringing in a new forward it'll need to be someone nearer Torres' level of ability than Voronin.

              And no one out of that group will stay as 4th choice. It would be a massive boost if we could bring someone in and have one of the young lads make the step up to be 4th choice.

                I am fan of Crouch, Marky. However, I also believe that he is nowhere near good enough to be considered a starter in the team and, contrary to your opinion that he blends well with the other strikers, has not clicked at all with Torres as of yet.

                Basically what I mean is that Crouch is an incredibly useful "possibility" but his long-term future at the club can only be affirmed if he gets used to the bit-part role that he inevitably has to play if we sign another striker that comes even close to being of Torres' ability, and I don't believe that that will happen given the long-running argument over the amount of games he gets.

                As you say, he provides something different, but it seems clear to me that he is after more playing time, and I doubt he will get that at Liverpool.

                  We're actually starting to get crosses into the box but no-one is strong enough to make the most of it. I'd trade Crouch for a Luca Toni type anyday of the week!
