FA Cup heroes Havant & Waterlooville went on a £100,000 bender after their 5-2 defeat at Anfield on Saturday, with Liverpool picking up the tab for the part-time footballers' night of celebrations. (Star)

Not quite what happened, another quote from the Star:

After the match, they downed free champagne in the dressing room. They then travelled back to the plush Radisson Hotel, where their bill was being paid by Liverpool FC.

They spent a couple of hours drinking in the hotel bar, before hitting the city for a huge celebration. Some of the players and staff went for a curry, where they were joined by Reds ace Carragher, 29. Others hit top Liverpool nightspot H Bar.

So in reality, LFC paid for the hotel, nothing more
