Stevie voted into UEFA 'Dream Team'

Steven Gerrard has received yet another glowing accolade with the news that he has been voted into UEFA.com users' team of 2007.

The Reds skipper was named alongside AC Milan's Kaka at the heart of the midfield and finished well clear of second-placed Andrea Pirlo in his respective category.

It seems Gerrard's ability to produce the goods when it most matters has not gone unnoticed by Europe's legions of football fans, with the all-action midielder receiving more votes as captain than any other player, with 40,000.

The team in full: Casillas, Alves, Abidal, Nesta, Terry, Gerrard, Kaka, Seedorf, Ronaldo :whatever:, Drogba, Ibrahimovic. Coach: Alex Ferguson
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Seedorf is a surprise. Thought he was a bit past it.

Yep, what with his wonderful record in Europe and yet another display of brilliant tactical acumen in last season's semi-final.

Hate the cnut, but can't really argue. But Casillas anyone else think he is overrated, not just saying Pepe because he plays for us, but I think he is genuinely and playing in a league that is much tougher for Keepers, Cech should be in there ahead of Casillas too.

Ibrahimovic is a nob, just to get that out in the open.

how torres does not make it il never know. got to be in the top five in the world surely for his position??
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

But he has never played in top european competition until this season, so you can see why he missed out.

any player who scores 38 goals for their club deserves to be in all fairness
