It could however have been less of a problem if we had more money allowing us to have a deeper squad.

All the teams in the top 7 below us have strengthened in the summer and while I think that our first 11 would certainly put us in the top 4 if avaliable regularly. The problem at present is I don't think we've been able to put our first 11 out for most of the season, while injuries to one or two players we could cope with. At times we're had alot of players out, and we are yet to get a settled team, and we are in the second half of the season. We lack strength in depth in a number of areas of the squad. Our current position has alot to do with the injuries IMO and had we had more funds available we could have lessened this effect, and still been in the title race

People find this funny? I logged on here expecting some sort of outrage and need for revolt. These clowns have turned our club into the Benny Hill Show. Sad state of affairs with our club and supporters

Hicks Jr has resigned. More bad publicity.
Liverpool Football Club today announce that Thomas Hicks Jr has resigned as a director of both the club and its parent company Kop Holdings.

Three new directors have been elected to the boards of both companies.

These are Philip Nash, LFC Chief Financial Officer; Ian Ayre, LFC Commercial Director; and Casey Coffman, Executive Vice President of Hicks Holdings.

Why bad publicity? Surely that's proof that they're acting on it.

Well, because all we'll hear now is about the debt, the running of the club, SOS, etc etc, not that the press needed a reason, but this'll send them into overdrive.

And acting on it just seems to have replaced one board member with three more, not sure why, but i'm sure it involves a pay rise for all concerned.

I have held back for quite a bit ever since the Klinsman debacle willing to give them the benefit of the doubt hoping that these cowboys would come good after undermining Rafa but when you see this type of thing from clueless morons I wonder how the hell they managed to accumulate the mass fortunes they have over the years.
                      The facts are clear
These creatures do not care about liverpool fans, liverpool players, the Liverpool manager, the Liverpool stadium, Liverpool the city in fact they could **** on the whole Liverpool way and not blink an eye lid. All they want is MONEY.

These people are very, very dangerous and this may seem like an over reaction to a simple email but after feeling physically sick at the site of that Prince from who gives a **** anyway trolling around our stadium given the red carpet treatment all for Gillets PR this is the final straw for me.

Something has to be done quick. Before these vermin actually get a chance to hire a manager on the back of sacking Rafa and blaming him for having to sell top players, mark my words it will happen.

If we finish outside the top four we are ****ed. These guys will panic and we could lose Torres for 50 million in the Summer very easily. I wouldn't put it past them to sell half the first eleven tbh.

Ayres is the voice of the club at the moment and the fans deserve answers, what is the blue print going forward here. We are a business so I want to know what the strategy is and what affect finishing outside of the Champions league places will have on our club.

There must be a way to get these out of the club, what affect would an empty stadium and picketing the shops have on them I wonder, that may not be the answer but drastic action needs to be taken imo.
But where's this philanthropiv billionaire who' wont be in it for the money? Look at Chelsea, Man City to follow, they all expect to make a buck in the end.

That being taken for granted, who/how to carry us forward?
