How could I forget...Torben Piechnik. For two reasons:

1. His song was the greatest ever. 'Teddy bear's Picnic' aka Torben Piechnik

2. When he first arrived he always made sure he was the last player on the pitch before turning to the kop and waving his fists at us.

Legend...in flop terms of course.

How is Titi Camara being mentioned as a flop who should never have gotten near the team? He carried us one year when Fowler and Owen were both injured. Titi was boss.

I wouldn't consider Titi as a flop nor Jari, Kuyt still has a way to go before I'd even consider that.
Jari for me did more in his brief appearance than half of GH's squad.
I think Vladi was probably the most likeable flop around never lived up to the potential that everyone talked about, gave his all and loved the club but just didn't get to levels he so rarely showed, although having a CL medal might rule him out.
Also Biscan is a strong contender for this but I didn't like him as much as Smicer.
I'll never forget him playing against Norwich under Rafa and he tried to flick and turn and landed on his arse, the whole place erupted and started sarcastic chants of Igor Igor Igor.

Theres 2 for me, Titi Camara and Tony Nunez.

Titi played and scored against WHU on the day or the day after his Dad died.

Tony nunez looked as poor as any player i've seen at LFC when he 1st came but he improved and always gave his all. He was the only player ho gave a sh1t when he got sent off when we went out of the Cup @ Burnley, and scored a goal in the league Cup final against Chelsea.

I remember being Crimson red with rage watching that game, then watched Nunez **** that little blue gobsh!te Tony Grant and although i knew we were going to lose it made me feel a bit better knowing at least one of those wastrels cared. . . And his Header against Olympiakos for Mellor's goal!

For me, the "greatest" flop in our history has to be Morientes. Clearly a world class striker and someone that we all had such high hopes for. I really wished he'd settled/adapted/succeeded. Very, very disappointing.
