The thing is, LFC fans know how to protest.

We know how to organise a campaign and we are more united than those SCUM fans.
Ask the Sun whether we know how to organise a sustained campaign.

For example place a picket on the ticket office tie up the phone lines and try to **** the server which in all honesty could be done. The main problem I see with a boycott is the people who don't go regularly might take the opportunity to get tickets while they are available.
Having said that if we could get a large number of season ticket holders, PTS member, sharleholders etc who can control ticket allocation then we could get a result.
Depends what you are going for I suppose. If you want Hicks out then there is an outside chance it might work, although I doubt. Of course if you are trying to attract a new, more beneficial owner there is a good chance that you will put them off buying us - after forcing one owner out, who next?

I understand that mate, i just keep thinking about how much we enjoyed the takeover at united and how much **** they went through to try and force the glazers out and it looks like it's come back to bite us on the arse now.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

It pains me to say it as well but at least they put up a bit of a fight. We welcomed them in with open arms.

Who gives a toss about them? Let them have their moment, it's about the future of the club.
Let's get it straight, they didn't give Glazier a chance before they wanted him out. We've had to put up with false hopes, major PR cockups and outright lies.

The Glazers didn't come out in Public twice and undermine the manager and leave all their fans believing that Fergie was a dead man walking, I think if they had've done that you would've seen bigger demonstrations. Also the Mancs have been at the forefront of media circus' for years now so they don't really give a ****.
We have shown in the past that we will not let things lie and not just accept being treated wrongly.
At the moment how do we look in front of the world's media?
We need to do something to make these guys realise they can not come into our club and in 8 short months turn us into a 3 ring circus and still have us dancing to their tune.

Thats a valid point but the new owners would then know that things have to be conducted in a better and more dignified manner for and by all of us.
In other words if you want the club then treat us right, treat our manager right behave in the way which made us the club we are today.
Shanks would be turning in his grave at all this but I think he would be backing us in this fight.
Added to that mate sometimes you have to do things you don't want or would not normally do to acheive an objective - for the greater good etc.

True, but it's a different world now.
I think if we do protest we should do it effectively and with dignity. Let's face it there is no chance of boycotting matches and there's **** all merchandise to buy half the time. I can't think of anyone who'd give up their season ticket or lose their place on the waiting list. And at the end of the day it means less cash, less transfer money, less top players wanting to come to us.
You see these people have us by the balls because the most effective protests hurt the thing we love the most, and they are only in it for the bottom line.
Unfortunately I don't have any other suggestions though...

I'm not saying anybody should give up their season ticket but if the season ticket holders boycotted the matches the ground would be half empty assumming a large majority would do this.
Also the PTS members, of which I'm one and there are 10,000 of us if they either didn't buy the tickets or bought their allocation but didn't go then that would add another 4-5k people to the missing list.
The problem is that the tickets are still being paid for but if we got the message across that this is first shot across the bough so to speak and for a few matches with attendances being about 15,000 or so that would make a statment first off merhcandise sales would be down, beverage and food sales down. That could be the start.
It's not flawless but it's all I've got at the moment.

The Manure/Glazer debacle shows that there is little we can do.

Our best option is to influence the owners to do what is right, the liverpool way.

I don't see how it would effect any transfer dealings. We get **** all anyway.

How about sending a S*n t-shirt or hat to them and see if they wear it? That would get rid of them pretty ****ing quick...

We could actually start winning matches we are supposed to...

Everyone that will go to the game should go dressed as Arabs. That should get the first message through to who we want to own the club.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
