Gilette doesn't seem to be as bad a chap to be fair, even from interviews etc he comes across the more genuine and down to earth of the two. Hicks to me always seemed like a bit of up his own arse cocksucker.

I don't think DIC need us to show our love to them. The issue here is to get the current owners to sell up. No matter how much anybody wants to buy the club, nobody can or will unless the current owners decide to sell.

I don't really want to go fawning to some corporation or other. I simply want to tell the current owners that they are no longer welcome to convince them to go, because I think that's a prerequisite to this club having any sort of stability whatsoever.

I don't really know enough about DIC to regard them as saviours. I just know the current owners are wrong for us and have lied to us and have tried to sack a manager based on a tiff rather than football, and then had a manager who had never managed before lined up to take over which I find astonishing.

Those are the issues. I want Hicks and Gillett gone. I'd rather simply show any future owners that we don't take any **** rather than go down on bended knee to them just because they're not the current guys.

Right back to actions, I there are two options

1. Boycott hit them in the pocket, they will understand that language
2. The nasty option, give them the sort of abuse we used to give Beckham and Posh Spice that made him ban her from Anfield. I think those Americans (especially those wealthy ones) would be well shook up if 40,000 fans abuse them and their family.

An idea to spread the word

I have seen a post here today with an open letter to Hicks and Gillet. It makes some very good points.
I have also seen some other posts with various email addresses of the busineses that they are involved in.

What im suggesting is start an email chain letter.

If you forward the letter to all of your liverpool supporting mates and get them to do the same the word will spread very quickly.

What makes it even better is if everyone copies in the various email addresses for hicks and Gillete in to the CC: field they will suddenly start to get a large number of emails and so they will not be able to ignore .

What do people think????

i remember going on an academy day out for my 18th birthday. got to play at the academy with Phil neal and Ronnie Whelan (I put in the reboud from Whelans shot ) and also got chatting to steven done who pretty much is Mr LFC. He know's everything about this club. he knows stuff that happened to the club and about the club that happened before any of us where thought about- thinking about it the ******* probably know when we're next going to win the league (I must ask him about that).

Anyways- I digress.

This was at the end of the Houllier Reign. He was questioned about what he thought about houllier and weather or not he thought he'd get the sack.

He simply just said it wasn't in anyone elses hands except the fans. He said the fans will let him know in no uncertain terms when time is up and blow me it happened and in the exact way he said it would.

The fan's simply stopped turning up. 34,000 for a home game against Pompey. Fair enough it was midweek but Old Trafford sells out for Coventry at home on a wednesday night.

This is exactly what will start to happen with the yanks! They don't pull their socks up- people will literally stop going. it's not about being loyal and always going, it's about knowing when your having the piss taken out of you royally and doing something about it.

it's not got that bad for me yet- I do not like the yanks but whilst we're still in the CL, the FA Cup i'll keep going. I don't like our football but it's what i live for. However if someone starts really taking libities then that'll be that for me.

Supporting a football club is like being invested in a long-term relationship. you put up with a lot of **** but at some point there's a snapping point. it might be her texting another guy, it might be she's ****ed another guy but at some point everyone has their points and if the yanks either don't back the boss or sell up and continue to mess about and lie then it'll be relationship over with for me.
