I think Gerrard can score goals from the middle, the right or playing off Crouch. He's that good he doesn't need to play in the middle and sometimes it hurts him too because he comes too deep looking for the ball.

the stats have been done to death on that season, I believe when it was actually looked at, more of his goals came from a central position rather than from the right

he's immovable in the middle now and Rafa knows it, how many times have you seen him on the flanks this season
