The RTK protests are like something the Mancs or Geordies or any other clueless ****wits would do and I don't want anything to do with it. It was bad enough having to sit amongst the daytripping sheep tonight in the Anfield Road end but, as a mate said to me after the game, "we must have more ****ing knobheads for fans than any other club" yet sadly most of them are fellow Scousers...

    I see your point mate

Not exactly gonna do a lot for the players hearing all that when they're trying to play a game of footy is it? I can see this all getting out of hand...and giving all yanks abuse based on hating those two is just plain ignorant.

The 'wrong hands' chant is still class though
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

    LF Clove aka AFII 11/10/07

"i personally hold you and several other gob****es responsible for the chaos this club is in"

I think the protests we're a good idea. Only issue is the banners should of been bigger and held up for the majority of the match. Say what you want but these actions at games are the best way to make your frustration well known.

Well I for one am proud of the the fans, it may not be the liverpool way but its also not the Liverpool Way to bully a current manager in public, the very future of our club is at stake. A message has been sent. I prepared to forget all of Hicks complete and utter symbolical adventures into Public Relations. But lets be blunt here, they need to deliver on there promises or else they will literally be ran out of town. So far all they have done is given us more worries when this should be a time of rebuilding, hope, energy and confidence.

Nothing further could be true, instead of steadying the ship, Tom Hicks has grabbed onto both sides with his chubby Texas digits and started to rock like a mad man Screaming I am Sparticus !!

Fair play to those fans !!

Cheers. Was proud to be part of that ..& pretty hoarse this morning.

Will for the most part ignore the more negative comments, but I dont appreciate my passion being dismissed as that of a "day-tripping sheep"- especially bya fellow red. Bad enough getting it from the Mancs rond here to be honest.

I stand by every sober word I typed last night. If you live or work around Manchester, like I have to, you'll know just what a laughing stock we have become as a club and, sadly, the protests last night provided more fuel for having the piss taken out of us...

There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

THat would happen reagrdless mate. BEing silent or otherwise isnt gonna change a thing in that respect.

I'm not offended by your opinion- everyone is entitled to them after all- more your patronising tone. I am old enough, well-versed enough & intelligent enough to amek my own decisions & realise the consequences of these without the intevention of some "superfan".

                    Disagree, mate.

We had to make a stand now. They have gone too far.
I wish we didn't have to go to these measures, but we are dealing with a couple of cowboys here with no respect for our values, so we can't just sit there and expect it all to blow over, being silent cause it's "not the liverpool way".
We have to do what we can to get the message across and undermine these jokers.

They play dirty, we have to do it as well to get them out.
I don't care one bit what mancs say, it's all in what we achieve by our actions at this stage.
If we get them out, great! That puts us in a much better position to get the mancs on the pitch laters.
And I would take a lot of crap to be able to get there. (obviously I don't live in mancland...but there are a lot of manc knobs here as well...)

That's how I see it anyway.

Aye. I dont really care what the Manc think. We are better than worrying about them all of the time. We need to get our own house in order & I'd rather have them taking the piss than the owners of our club who can actaully do some damage.

Maybe rushscored4 was sitting behind the Byelorussian Hillsborough banner, I can see that might have put a damper on things.

Seriously though, what's to be achieved in slagging off our own supporters? I'm sorry to break it to you, but if support for the club was limited to natural-born scousers, we'd be competing on a par with Stockport County.

We had to act somehow though didnt we? We couldnt just let this happen without letting our feelings be known? Watch our club be destroyed without putting up a fight? How would you have liked to seen the fans voice their disapproval? Got any better ideas?
