be careful what you wish for

dont get me wrong i would rather have ken bates in charge of our football team than the yanks at the minute.but as anybody researched why moores parry a team of highly paid advisors and the rest of the board had reservations about the dic offer surely the yanks were not that clever in conning the very people we held in trust to handle our clubs affairs. not trying to put a downer on things but a "come and buy our club its yours whatever" worries me slightly.

to be honest mate, I have reservations about DIC, but i just can't see them being any worse than the stupid ****ers in charge now, and they wouldn't saddle the club with debt imo

I'm nervous about the future of this club.

I don't care what anyone says, these Arabs lads aren't fans, their businessmen similar to Hicks and Gilette.

Yes they have more financial clout, and that seems to be enough for some, which makes me wonder. What's more important? Having one of our own in charge who genuinely gives ****e about the club, or some loaded businessman, who if things go tits up would drop us without hesitation?

Just look at Chelsea as an example of the tightrope which these foreign owned clubs are walking. If Roman ****s off they're ****ed completely.

            We're walking that tightrope now.

Ansari (sp) is a fan and would be running the Club for D.I.C if reports are to be believed.
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

at least al ansari knows what a football looks like. and i doubt he'd ever use the centre circle to propose. graze his camels maybe....

seriously these two muppets are as bad as it can get.

Moores and Parry picked the wrong horse. Did you see them sitting in the directors box tonight? They were in pieces. Why? Because they sold the 'family silver' to a pair of c*nts who have turned us into a circus. DIC, dare I say it, Thaksin Shinawatra would be better than our American friends.

As Morph said we don't know exactly what DIC will bring to the table. They're obviously going to have their plus and minus points and will probably view the club as a business first and a great football club second.

What is for sure is that they can't be any worse than Gillett and Hicks, but then again two dead otters could run the club to a better standard than Gillett and Hicks.

of course chelsea will be ****ed because their business model is ****e, but all that will happen is they'll fall back to where they were before he took over

the mancs are run properly even though they have a debt it's controlled well

we just have to do things the way we always have, but keep a proper wage structure and not start hittine the real 30 mil fantasy buys, which I don't think we ever will, no matter who is in charge

i thought it was the future plans for the club that were tantamount to the deal being secured so what was wrong with the dic offer compared to the yanks, or was it just about personal finance for the selling pack i hope not.

it was the feeling of uneasiness moores got from dic, it was well documented at the time that he was in a terrible state, couldn't sleep, cried over selling the club etc. The yanks made him feel at ease seemed like genuine guys and good family men, this swayed him in the end.
