Off course we knew. But that doesn't stop him lieing. He has never said he was purely in it for the money. So you can't say he was upfront and honest about the situation can you?

he hasn't said he's in it for the money correct, all he's said is he'll use his profits for his other teams, and if it's his money then what complaints can we have

Alot, as the profits should be going back into the club to pay the debt. Once the debt is paid, and we are coasting along nicely like the Mancs (profit wise per year) then fair enough.

and i'm sure that's part of his business plan, but none of that is going to come to fruition untill the stadium is built, so he's obviously talking in the future.

The problem with hicks is, he's too honest for his own good, and it makes him seem like a PR goof, i'm not sure how he ever got this far in business

Cos PR makes **** all difference in most deals.

Remember when he took over at LFC. Loved the fact that we had a large fan base that followed whether we won games or not.

A boycott of games would do the trick if it ever went that far.

Hicks did not invest 1 pence out of his pocket, neither did shorty. They borrowed the money to take major shares in LFC.
The money to buy Torres, Babel & Benayoun was generated from sales so again they did not use their own capital.
On a side note I dont think many of you know that but Gilette bought the Montreal Canadians hockey team without spending 1 penny on the new 22,000 capacity arena.
He told the club that he wants to own only the team so the big beer brewers here MOLSON built the arena and now the short cu nt collects all the gate receipts, gig monies and every other event held at the Bell Center.
Them 2 yanks aint stupid but with Scousers they dont know who they're dealing with.
I hope to god that the loan falls through and they sell out cos they are not honourable enough to own our club.
