I don`t agree,H+W proved for 45 mins that non league teams can dream of beating great teams. That`s the magic of the FA Cup.Nothing to do with the media.

H&W did brilliantly and deserve a lot of credit.

I'm not disputing that, and of course it is a great day for a small club if they play well or beat premiership opposition.

What annoys me is the way the media are practically foaming at the mouth willing Premiership teams to lose so they can have a 'feel good story' and sell a few more copies of their rags.

I think there used to be a magic to the FA Cup but it has been largely been hijacked by opportunisitc media vultures.

It's fine immersing yourself in this concoction if you're watching a game as a neutral.

It's not much fun when the 'magic of the FA cup' has trained both barrels down the throat of your team and is willing them to fail so the BBC can show clips of our glorious defeat every year in January and tabloid hacks can have a field day.
Tell me about it, i was feeling sick early in the game, when relief finally came with the 1st equaliser we we're once again strangled with fear as Havant quickly got the 2nd.
I was for a short time, a very short time, well around 20 seconds convinced that with fortune against us we could go the rest of the game without getting another goal, my hand held out in front of me was shaking, as i confidently told my brother (a scum fan) that i was'nt bothered because OBVIOUSLY we would win in the end.

Footie eh, the love of a team, good with the bad. jumpers for....nah.

Hate games like these - no particular satisfaction in winning but terrified of loosing.

My boss is an evertonian so I'd have been calling in sick for life if we'd lost!
