Whilst I don't boo myself I have no problem with those who do. you pay your cash and if the team isn't doing its stuff then if you want to let them know, then thats fine.

The truth is our fans virtually never boo the team unless its 100% merited. TBH the booing was not just for that game but some of the poor stuff we've had to put up with all season.

Again, it would only take 10 people around the press box to boo and it'd sound like the whole ground.

I find it hard to believe that so many people wouldve booed yesterday. There was no doubt we wouldve won at half time. Granted, people were not happy at the **** we had been served up but everyone I heard talking while walking along the concorse under the Kop was saying and knew that the second half would be a different matter. They knew it was **** but they also knew the result wouldnt be in doubt. That is also why people applauded their goals. It was all just a matter of time.

Don't believe you mate. I was impossible not to hear that, sorry.

            I was in 104.
Saw you at pitch side by the way.

Went for a piss at 45 mins inc time added and I could even hear them booing when I was walking downstairs

You were obviously somewhere else then.

Well you're entitled to your opinion, but looking at the post-match thread there appears to have been instances of booing all around the ground. A sample which, IMO, would suggest plenty of thousands of people booing. Which is sad. Naturally.

Oh, and the radio uses microphones all around the pitch side for matches not just around the press box.

Its not really an opinion since I was there. I did not hear thousands booing and I was standing in front of 12000 people in a stand which is constructed so sound rolls out of it toward people on the pitch, which I was.

I do not doubt that there was booing but it was no where near as bad as it has been at some games this season. When you are in a stand you only need to be around a group of about 20 people booing and it sounds like the whole ground is making the same noise. That is my point. As I am not part of any group I can tell which areas are singing/booing/whatever and which arent.

Oh and do radio use microphones all around the pitch? Well you learn something new everyday. I always thought with it being radio they used the commentators microphones only, since radio relies on speech not background noises and pictures to create an image. Oh well I bow to youre superior knowledge on this one.

Still, you heard booing on the radio so I mustve had ear plugs in.

I was in the main stand, almost dead centre, and could hear booing from all round the stadium. Nothing major, it was almost drowned out from equal amounts of people clapping.

Agreed, & make it just 1 boo, Boo, there. No that's stupid, make it... Boooo, lasts longer, more ooo's = more effect.

Its like when people come on and say, 'The atmosphere at todays game was crap' then someone else will come on and say 'It was rockin where I was' The fact that some people heard booing and some never shows that the picture of vast amounts of booing isnt totally correct.

I like the idea of one Boo. Also if everyone did it at the same time.

anybody read the article in the post about fan demonstrations back in the 30's when Liverpool's form took a downturn-so the idea that booing is somehow immoral . People who pay big amounts to watch over payed over indulged professionals are entitled to boo and show their disquiet at a poor performance. If Liverpool were an italian team i'm sure some fans would have stormed Melwood by now and be beating Voronin and Kuyt with wooden planks-something I wouldnt agree with so instead let people boo and show their disquiet
the sun gives life and it takes it away
but like all the greats it will burn out some day
