That 1999 cup match in purely football terms is one of my lowest moments as a Liverpool fan. For some reason it felt worse than losing to them in the Cup final in 96.
Cause the 96 final was an abysmal game mate- That was my first time i'd been to Wembley for an FA Cup final (I went in 95 for the league cup final) and after we'd lost, even at 10 years old I was glad the game had finished, if it'd actually been a hotter day i'd have fallen asleep- it was Dyer.
'99 was so hard to swallow because we hadn't beaten them in about 10 years at Old Trafford and we were literally less than 300 seconds away from winning, knocking them out the cup and ruining their ****ing treble season!
The fact that their equaliser came from a free-kick that should never have been given and that Solskjaer socred the winner just made things worse- i'm so glad that little c*nts knee got ****ed. i'm even more happier he's had to retire from it!

We have a one in fifteen chance of drawing Man United.
Based on relative league positions and recent performances and results, I'd suggest we have rather less than a 50/50 chance of beating them - say, 2 in 5.
So I reckon the odds of us losing to Man United are 3/75.
Is that right? I hate stats.
I hate stats too. Did an A Level in it and got an E.
I just have feeling that is what is gonna happen. It would fit in well with how the season is going.

I have no idea how I scraped a pass in my Stats Prelim, end of 1st year at university. I switched to joint honours so I could drop all maths courses.
Well, I suppose we'll find out tomorrow whether your guts are an accurate predictor of the future.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Can't argue with any of that mate.
Damn right, it was never a free kick, and they would never have gotten it if Beckham never cried like a bitch calling for it. Cunts
