ditto, we hardly covered ourselves in glory last time.

The fact that Diao was on a football pitch at the same time as 10 other guys dressed in similar kits was just a sheer coincidence. That man was not a footballer.

And as for the other ****ing idiot, well ...................

I`m pretty confident Rafa have some people there. They may not connected directly to LFC, but will do some scouting for us.
As for Diouf, he was bought before the world cup and had allready been voted African player of the year twice. Diao is another thing.

Perhaps we don't have any money to sign players who are on show at the ACN, so saved some money by not sending any scouts over. Just a thought.

Maybe we have people connected to Ashanti Gold (or at least nominally so) do the scouting for us - so that we draw less attention (and hence competition) for players.

So the fact that EHD & Diao were poor means we shouldn't be over there looking for new talent does it.

Well we'd better not buy ant Dutch players in the future because Kuyt's been poor.

Exactly! No point sending the scouts off for a jolly in Africa when the best of the action is on BBC3
