    A good end to a s*** month?

    http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drill...80129-1415.htm

Hopefully we can seal this deal and then get back to playing some decent football.

This has been a rotten few months for Liverpool, from the manager, to the players and through to the fans everything has been flat and soulless, if we tie up Masch it really could be the boost all of us need to reignite our season.

The league is pretty much lost, but we can still go on a great run and end the season with a major trophy, let's see what happens.

Not only that, the world wasn't hit by a meteor and destroyed today, so things really are looking up

Looking forward to this going through, mainly because I think it might not yet. If it doesn't expect Rafa to resign soon.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

And is still so young. What a player he will be in 2 years time if he continues to improve and play like he has this last year.

Absolutely fantastic and can't wait for this deal to finally be done!!!

          Great news.

Apparently a Havant player was on the radio this lunchtime and he was asked which LFC player stood out the most.

He said Mascherano by a mile - which is interesting, as Masher had one of his poorer games, going forward at least. In terms of defending and tackling he was his usual monstrous self.

You pretty much know my stance on this, I'd rather have spent the money elsewhere like up front or out wide.

yep, spot on. He's not an impact player. Him being in our team has not improved us defensively or attacking wise

We don't have a player like him around.

He wins the ball and is a better passer than Momo. How does that not improve our defence and attack?

Statistically speaking we are better at neither, he is one of the best tacklers ive ever seen but offers nothing going forward and for £17 million we have other priorities.

£17m includes his wages for five years, and a relatively low fee to MSI. About £55k a week for Masch, £2.7m to MSI for their fee.

                            He made my MOM list

Needs to spend a few days practising shooting though

At home Gerrard can just go and attack, Masher is a one man midfield
