I feel very deflated by everything that's going on - on and off the pitch - and, for the first time since the latter part of the Houllier-era, I'm almost dreading the match. Certainly not looking forward to it.

At least we're only drawing - a few years ago about this time we had a spell when we didn't win for 12 games or so and lost loads - away at Soton was particularly painful I remember (big lanky chap ran us ragged) and every single bloody game was on TV - in the end you were praying that they wouldn't cover the next one...
