People can dress it up all they like but there are serious problems in the playing side at the moment. Cant let two goals in against Waterlooville. We've been **** of late and at the end of the day the buck will stop with Rafa. All downhill since he got an ego and kicked out Pako. Similarities with how Houllier became stubborn towards the end of his reign.

To be fair I think the end is near for Rafa. Not just down to the boardroom but based on results and performances

Not sure whether it is the Pako business or not. But I agree there's a few people at the club at the moment who give the impression they either can't be bothered or seeing out time. If I didn't know better it's like a few of them have already given up.

I think Alonso makes us look stale. There is no passion and drive. Everthing is short pass cross court. Kewell looks ****e as per usual. Kuyt - don't mention the war. Torres looks whimsical - Sami looks dodgy.

Finnan was the only one who looked even remotely committed.

I've asked myself the same question since 2001... baffling. Maybe the story about us being cursed is true....

It's because regardless of our team on paper the winning mentality just hasn't been there. When winners take to the pitch they make their teammates feel invincible and their opposition feel helpless. When we get on the pitch the doubt is always there, in no small part thanks to over a decade of underachievement.

Maybe change the whole mentality ON the pitch, from not wanting to lose to wanting to score 1 more than the opponents. Attack Attack Attack!!! FFS I would accept a couple of years of missing out on the CL if it meant we would change the whole mindset of our play. Too damn cautious!!!!!!!!!!!!!
