    I think he should go

Yes, yes, this time I mean it.

For the good of himself and the club.

He looks a beaten man to me. It's sad to see.

Tonight was one daft team selection and poor performance too many.

He's lost the players (IMO) and one of our owners wants him out.

Tonight was just another example which typified our season.

    Typical daft team selection.

Typical crap performance by a bunch of ****houses who have quit.

The same players failing the manager again, and the same players looking at them with the contempt they deserve.

    What a disaster.

I feel for Rafa but did you see Lucas tonight?

It was in essence a microcosm of where Rafa has manifestly failed.

You saw the difference he made, yet he was on the bench and a ****house consistent underperformer like Kewell got another 60 minutes to do so again.

Lucas showed drive, determination, he wanted to impress, yet when you keep giving underperforming players like Kuyt and Kewell games they have no incentive to perform. And it's the same for those like Babel and Crouch who do contribute when given the chance, but still can't get a start.

So how long before a hungry young player get's that drive to impress the manager knocked out of him?

Our problems on the pitch start and end with Rafa's rotation madness.

There's nothing wrong with rotating players, if they are out of form, injured or in need of a rest. The problem is he doesn't do it because of any of these rational things.

You don't see Rafa rotating Gerrard or Torres if they don't perform either.

I think there's a split in the squad now, can you honestly blame players like Crouch and Babel if they got pissed off? They see Kuyt, Pennant and Kewell starting and they must wonder what the **** they have to do to start.

Problem is no matter what they do, in the mind of Rafa it's irrelevant, reason and common sense isn't a factor anymore.

I see him binning the Reading game, yet going for the win tonight and I wonder where the consistency is?

I want him to stop doing these things.

    But he won't.

So I want him to go. And more importantly he needs to.

This era has run its course. His way isn't going to work in this league.

He's done loads for us and we'll always love him for it, but the club comes first.

But he's no scapegoat, others need axing.

Starting with the owners, they need to do one. Not because they are American, or because they haven't used their own money to buy the club, or because of what they've said, but because they aren't LFC people.

I want the likes of Kewell, Pennant, Kuyt and Voronin to do one. I'm absolutely fed up of cunts like these strolling into our club with their mediocrity and taking a wage. It's been happening since Souness and by and large we seem to accept it. Enough is enough. GET. TO. ****. YOU. WORTHLESS. CUNTS.

**** the league completely, let's have a right good crack at the cups, even if we are successful it shouldn't and won't paper over what has been a disastrous season.

Clean them all out. Owners, Parry, Rafa, his staff, most of these ****house players.

    Time to start again.

You'll change your mind once some of the regulars point out that Rafa should stay.
        We come not to play.

I'm not fussed. If the right man becomes available we should take him but who's better and attainable. If Martin O' Neill was an option I'd bite someones hand off.

I do but we will not get a better replacement one day before the transfer window shuts so, as with Houllier, we'll have to grin and bear it until the end of the season and hope we finish 4th so we at least have that carrot to dangle in front of a proper manager that understands the football in this country.

I fundamentally don't think we should sack a manager after 3.5 years.

But having said that, if the owners replaced him with the right manager I probably wouldn't grumble too strenuously.

No way Nic, he's not the answer.

If O'Neill was available, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
I guess the popular choice would be Maureen though.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                              **** Martin O'Neill.

I think something has to give and while I will never actually want Rafa to go, I reckon he's beyond the point of no return. I'd sooner the owners went but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen. These players are not playing for this manager and we can't sell all the players...

                              I will never want Mourinho.

While I think Rafa's time is about up, I can't think of a worthy replacement. As has already been said, a possible solution isn't the sacking of a manager but bringing in somebody better. Who that man is, I haven't a clue.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
