    the only way most of our team would play 5 games in a row is with a new manager. no way should he be given another season. sorry but he is what he is

        Martin O'Neill for me.

        He may not be a "tactical genius" like Rafa, though to be honest I've Rafa out-thought many times by this season, including in the Derby by Moyes, but I think he'd get us performing consistently at a decent level and is a much better man-manager than our current chappy. He's got European experience (as a manager and a player) and he likes his teams to have pace in wide areas which is something we sorely lack at the moment.

              Is it a coincidence that things started going pear shaped when Pako left? Pako used to be the one to put his arm around a players shoulder and give him the encouragement and belief he needed. Rafa can't do this. I honestly believe if Rafa was teaching his daughter to ride a bike and she fell off and broke her leg the first words out of his mouth would be how she peddled wrong

                While I think Rafa's time is about up, I can't think of a worthy replacement. As has already been said, a possible solution isn't the sacking of a manager but bringing in somebody better. Who that man is, I haven't a clue.

                      Would O' Neill even be interested?

                      Are there any known British/Irish possible investors that would be interested in a takeover and actually be good for the club?

                        I'm really not sure about him.

                        He does seem to to favour physicality over technique.

                        And his teams are awful to watch. Does nobody remember his awful Leicester teams?

                          O'Neill would not leave until the end of the season. He's committed to Villa until then at least and should they get European footie I think he'd probably stay with them for next season too. Plus I doubt he'd walk into the ****storm the current owners have created given the contrasting approach of Villa's American chap.

                              He's brought Voronin to our club. He's not even a Prem player let alone a Liverpool player. What does that tell you of his judgement. I'm sick of his "We were controlling the game" ****. I can honestly say i've never felt this low as a Liverpool supporter. CMS's comments regarding Lucas and Kewell put it perfectly for me.

                                I think now is the wrong time to be chasing him, maybe in a couple of seasons.
