Hey, I said we'd be sticking our necks on the line, and that we will all get a chance to moan in weeks to come and get the "told you so" from our less mature posters.
If anyone changes there mind, you're free to post and say so.
What a silly move the 'Keep Rafa' protests might turn out to be.
Poor Tom and George will be sitting there now, scared to make the right decision, trembling at the thought of upsetting the fans.
He should stay. He can still salvage this season. And i think he deserves a shot at next season. 2 Euro Finals in 3 seasons, no fluke.
Get rid of Kewell, Kuyt, Riise, Crouch, Pennant and Voronin. Get some cash back and rebuild for next season. We need 3/4 new players. Quality attackers
Rafa can do it. I still have a feeling he'll fix it
what makes you think he'll act any differently when he has new players?

At the end of the season, if we keep playing like we have been there will be no 'keep Rafa' protests.

I had that horrible thought too. If they do come through with the stadium & transfer funds, the weakest link could well be Rafa.

Yep.
Hey man, it's a stressfull thing supporting a club, more so for some of the others who base their whole weekend around travelling to the ground only to watch some shower of ****e play out in front of them.
But we all acre deeply about the club, no question of that. Otherwise why would we bother wasting our time on this site.
Duncan Oldham knew he was on a winner when he started a site for LFC fans. Easy money. Of all the sports sites on the net I've seen or visited, it's always the Liverpool ones that are busy. We have a huge fanbase that needs to be utilised. But that's another story.........
i hate myself for saying this but if rafa goes mourinho is about the only one to come in and take control of the situation to avoid players leaving and everything that goes on with that. if we would bring in a lesser name that needs time to get it right and does not have the mentality to go at it from the start i see player leaving and i'm not talking about one or two...

Must say, I find it strange that some would keep him until the end of the season then fire him regardless. I know he does well in the cups but srely if you are going to fire him, would it not be better to do it now to let the new man see who he fancies player wise?
And what if Rafa won a cup? Then what?
Personally I believe Rafa has done enough in previous seasons for him to deserve to be backed, but thats just my opinion.

its no good firing him now as the new manager cant sell or buy any players till the summer. the season is lost in regards to the title this year. we are not newcastle sacking managers for the fun of it.
Lets Rafa carry on and he might win the FA Cup on even get far in Europe.

I'd have no problem with Mourinho if Rafa got the sack. He's a winner and it's well publicised that he wanted the LFC job originally as he relished the challenge of taking LFC back to the top.
But with the uncertainty at LFC I couldn't see a manger right out the top drawer wanting the job. Sure, there will be applicants queing a mile long, but none who I'd rate in the top bracket.
Looks to be a poisoned chalice at the moment with transfer funds in question.
