    I support Liverpool FC
I support our manager and our players
It piss's me off when we loose.

    but i support

when we go though a bad patch i support
its what i do - i was born with it. I may not like what's going on but i support.

i see people who jump ship as quitters.
Rafa aint no quitter therefore i will support him.
Rafa aint no mug and is a good manager end off. If the players aint behind hi then maybe they should f off - for a start they have a shorter career and if they don;'t have the hunger then they aint the players for us.
I've worked for crap managers and still done my job.

If he's going though a bad patch i'm ****ed if i'm going to kcik him while he;s down.

we're having bad results, we're being dragged through the papers as we're easy to have a go at.

There are no quick fixes in football and there are no guarantee's - for starts it would be boring.

Once the behind the scenes are sorted Rafa should then be given time
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I'm not sure i understand the excuses about the "behind the scenes turmoil", and "H and G falling out" affecting the players during a game. If i was earning 70 grand a week, i wouldnt care if it was Harold ****ing Shipman and Hannibal Lecter who owned us. I'd carry on doing my job to the best of my ability, as my contract demanded, knowing full well that my grossly over inflated wage packet would still be there even if they ****ing killed each other..
There again, if i was a prima-donna-cotton-wool-wrapped-pussy who shirked responsibility, i'd probably blame my ****-awful performance on the bad atmosphere created by the owners who were giving it "handbags" 4500 miles away.

Its hard for me to accept that the man who broke the stranglehold that Barca and Real had on La Liga looks so inept at times in the PL. I doubt that he will be sacked given the goings on of late-the owners would be to gun shy anyway. The end of the season is the right time to assess. By then we will know how far we finished behind the big two and see whats become of the cup runs. Frankly a double figure points tally behind Man U or Arsenal is another failed season and I cant see how Rafa can claim we are improving like he did the other day because we win the odd cup competition.

Tonight was one daft team selection and poor performance too many.

He's lost the players (IMO) and one of our owners wants him out.

Tonight was just another example which typified our season.

          Typical daft team selection.

Typical crap performance by a bunch of ****houses who have quit.

The same players failing the manager again, and the same players looking at them with the contempt they deserve.

          What a disaster.

I feel for Rafa but did you see Lucas tonight?

It was in essence a microcosm of where Rafa has manifestly failed.

You saw the difference he made, yet he was on the bench and a ****house consistent underperformer like Kewell got another 60 minutes to do so again.

Lucas showed drive, determination, he wanted to impress, yet when you keep giving underperforming players like Kuyt and Kewell games they have no incentive to perform. And it's the same for those like Babel and Crouch who do contribute when given the chance, but still can't get a start.

So how long before a hungry young player get's that drive to impress the manager knocked out of him?

Our problems on the pitch start and end with Rafa's rotation madness.

There's nothing wrong with rotating players, if they are out of form, injured or in need of a rest. The problem is he doesn't do it because of any of these rational things.

You don't see Rafa rotating Gerrard or Torres if they don't perform either.

I think there's a split in the squad now, can you honestly blame players like Crouch and Babel if they got pissed off? They see Kuyt, Pennant and Kewell starting and they must wonder what the **** they have to do to start.

Problem is no matter what they do, in the mind of Rafa it's irrelevant, reason and common sense isn't a factor anymore.

I see him binning the Reading game, yet going for the win tonight and I wonder where the consistency is?

I want him to stop doing these things.

          But he won't.

So I want him to go. And more importantly he needs to.

This era has run its course. His way isn't going to work in this league.

He's done loads for us and we'll always love him for it, but the club comes first.

But he's no scapegoat, others need axing.

Starting with the owners, they need to do one. Not because they are American, or because they haven't used their own money to buy the club, or because of what they've said, but because they aren't LFC people.

I want the likes of Kewell, Pennant, Kuyt and Voronin to do one. I'm absolutely fed up of cunts like these strolling into our club with their mediocrity and taking a wage. It's been happening since Souness and by and large we seem to accept it. Enough is enough. GET. TO. ****. YOU. WORTHLESS. CUNTS.

**** the league completely, let's have a right good crack at the cups, even if we are successful it shouldn't and won't paper over what has been a disastrous season.

Clean them all out. Owners, Parry, Rafa, his staff, most of these ****house players.

          Time to start again.
While i'm not going to agree or disagree with anything you've written here, what you have to realise is fans are fickle.

The timing of this poll of course is going to skew the results to a more negative side.

I guarantee if we beat Sunderland at the weekend (and lets be honest that's no great shakes) and you did this poll again it would yield a widely different result.

And for that reason alone, I'm voting rafa at least stay till the summer. Lets see what happens then, who the owners are, and lets move on from there.

If we don't make 4th, then we don't make 4th, nothing we can do about it now imo, if it's going to right itself then it will. Even if we sacked Rafa tomorrow, we'd still have to find a suitable candidate to come in, and that's still no guarantee of getting us back to at least 4th.

At the end of the day it's gone tits up, we know we've got the quality to be at the top of the table because we were there only a couple months ago. If Rafa can get the players doing what they were then he at least deserves the respect of being left in a job till end of season. If he has lost the dressing room then it's a different matter, but 1. we don't know if he has/hasn't and 2. the players play for us not the manager, so they're a gang of **** bags if that is the case.

            1) Rafa took us to an all-time high in the League of 81 points, it cant just be a fluke. May be he has the potential, but he needs to be given some time, atleast till the end of the season. May be by their he would prioritize the club above his ego!
Doesnt matter. Now he's struggling to have us finish 4th.

Kenny won loads, doesnt mean he'd cut it now.

            2) Two of the four consistent players of our squad Torres and esp. Masch wouldnt prefer to stay with us. May be even Xabi! Without these two players and new manager who is twice as good as Rafa, we might still be in the same position where we are in the League and added to that we wont be the favourite English team to win the Big ears.
Speculation about what players would prefer. They dont play as if they prefer Rafa to stay. And whatever else, they have contracts.

What's the use of keeping them and finishing 6th? For the record, if we're not in the CL, they'd be likely to want out.

            3) How many world class players would like to come to our club this summer, if Rafa is sacked?? Who would wish to come to club where there is no stability of the manager or even the board and the owners?? We would surely lose our first choice targets to our rivals and end up with second and third choice journeymen.
Even less world class players would come to us if we're in the Uefa Cup.

On the present form of team, this season Rafa is an utter failure and he is one of the main reasons for the under-performance on the pitch. But, sacking him wont do much good to the team in the short run. The best thing is to wait for Rafa to learn from his mistakes. Again thats a big WHEN! The first thing he should do is to get a No.2. Or else, if he is sacked im sure we will have to wait for another two more seasons to build a great team that is good enough to challenge for the Title.

The tagline is, if Rafa is sacked we will only go two or three seasons back rather than forward, But it might be a good move in a long run!
Rafa doesnt show the slightest sign that he'll learn from his mistakes.

As for the short run, i agree it may not do good to sack him but the way things are now, we aint gonna finish 4th. And there's no sign of things improving.

I dont agree that we'd have to wait 2-3 years if he's sacked, i think the nucleus of a title challenging squad is there. Rafa's problem isnt his squad, it's the way he uses it.

He deserves until the end of the season though. There's nothing to be gained from sacking a manager mid season.
I fear that if he stays, we'll miss out on a CL place.

Of course, if he goes, that could still happen.

No quick fixes is right, but we shouldnt NEED to fix a situation that looks like leaving us out of the top four.

Waiting is fine, and i see logic in that. But by the time we've waited, it could be too late. Missing out on the CL would be nothing short of catastrophic.

The difference being that if you look back, even Kuyt played better when Pako was with us. I'm not saying he would be our savior though, far from it. I do think though that he would instill a little more self-belief. And right now, i'm concerned about steadying the ship before it gets any worse.
Mate, i dont think it makes a blind bit of difference if Pako was here or not as far as Kuyt is concerned, he's just an abysmal player who is way out of his depth at this level.

rafa deserves until the end of the season at the least to see us through this rough patch

the off the field issues have clearly effected our season

undermined in public by the owners and seemingly on his way out for half the season- ideal working conditions and guaranteed to get the players behind you

then having a bunch of ****houses not even trying for the sake of their own pride never mind the clubs

i'm not saying rafa hasn't made mistakes- persisting with kuyt the most glaring example- but i think sacking him now is over the top and will further destabilize the club. all you'll get is a new scapegoat in his place

                      Comment

he's bought far too much **** and it shows look at his transfers, especially on the attacking half, mostly ****. When we've been crying out for creativity he goes and buys another defender.

Off the top of my head he's bought in the attacking field:

Wingers - nunez, pennent, gonzales, zenden, leto, 15 odd million there spent on **** add in babel for 11 odd million who is not a winger and gets lost as a out and out striker the few times i've seen him there. to me it appears he's only comfortable in a 433

hole players = garcia, yossi - both good players BUT rarely used where they are most effective.

strikers - we started with cisse, pongolle, mellor and baros. rafa's bought in morientes, crouch, kuyt, bellamy, voronin and torres. In torres' first season he's fading fast and needs help but the rest are at best mid table ****e. Anyone really think crouch, kuyt or voronin will get into a top 4 team?

I don't care about net spend. Rafa's spent loads and our midfield and attack is no better than was under houllier.

last night was some of the worst football we've ever played. shame is it wasn't a one off.

he is fading fast. you keep on believing what you want. this is the lads first season, he's done well but he needs help. he doesn't look as sharp nor do i expect him to carry the team on his own in his first year. the pressure is building up and affecting his play.

at least we've not played him on the right wing yet.

he isn't fading, the team has simply been playing badly in the last few games, so has he. the spanish media can't stop praising him for the progress he has made this season and how much he has improved his game. there are alot of shoulders carrying this team and he is merely one of those. the only thing that is effecting his game is how the team plays and the lack of service he gets when we are playing as badly as we are doing now...

The whole thing is a mess, I want this season to be over already, I will be happy to secure our Champions Lg place and win one of the cups we are still in. I know some people will say thats disgusting but its the reality of the situation. I believe Rafa has earnt the right to see out his contract at the very least .. for me I want stability at the club, I believe Rafa is the man to bring the title back to us, What did Demento do in his first 3 seasons ?
