Carson Or Reina?

Reina hasnt been near the best in the league never mind the world. I dont put our defensive record down to him at all. My main point with Carson was we've let better keeps then Reina leave the club.

For the first time in Years (probably going back to Bruce Grobbelaar) i'm not overly worried about the goalkeeper flapping (yes i know both Reina and Grobbelaar are/were eccentric)

But with James right through Dudek All have been on the whole duds.

I reckon Carson is as good if not better then Reina. I cant remember the last time Reina made a decent stop. Alot of the goals conceded have done so without a decent effort at stopping then. His penalty saving skills cant be questioned but as for in normal play more questions need to be asked, he's getting off way to easy.

How you can post this without having watched either keeper in action is beyond me.

I'd be absolutely stunned if there's even one other person, out of the 4,500 members of this forum, and has ever watched one single game of both Carson's and Pepe's, shares IrishCop's view.

Pepe is a top keeper, one of the top two in the league IMO. Sadly I fear there may be a possibility that he'll leave when Rafa goes.

Bloody hell, we might have some problems on and off the pitch at our great club but our first choice goalkeeper certainly isn't one of them. Crazy to suggest he's only average
