We are really getting desperate for new threads at the moment,arn't we?

First people slagging off Gerrard,Actually calling him names and now were questioning proberbly the finest keeper around!

Those ratings by sky are a load of ****e.

Reina has the best clean sheets to games ratio ever in the premiership.

Fact.

He proberbly scored low in the survey due to the fact that in a game he proberbly has a lot less to do than for example,Kirkland or Carson who are not as good as we are defensively therefore they have a lot more work to do in games.

The crapier the defense,the higher the rating purely on the law of averages.

For the record, I have been surprised at the lack of activity around Carson, really thought Villa & City would be looking to sign him up in January but hasn't even been a suggestion towards it since the window opened

Worse still, looks like Villa are trying to get in another keeper as they have failed with a bid for a US guy I never heard of - see below from SSN ... does this mean they are not interested or that they are not prepared to pay the money for him?

Why would you pay money for a player early when you have an agreed fee for the end of the year?

They need another keeper even if they buy Carson as Sorenson wants out.

In terms of city they have two young keepers of good quality. Paying big money for another makes little sense. If they buy another keeper it would be an experienced player to act as a mentor in all likelihood.
