Where to watch the match in ST Helens :eyebrow:

Okay, so i've got to stay in St Helens for a couple of days (unfortunately - where's that sheep shagger smiley) so I was wondering if anyone knows of a pub were I will be able to watch the Newcastle game on Wednesday. Would normaly watch it in town (l'pool) but I can't realy be arsed going all the way there with it being an 8pm KO and all.

Looking at the schedule it's on Art4 and Canal+, so anyone out there have an idea were I might be able to watch it?

All the way there? It's only 8 miles away.

Does Johnny Vegas still live in St Helens? If he does, pop round as I'm sure he'll have the match on. He said on last night's Charlotte Church show (ask Rocket ) that he was in her Mam's pub in Cardiff singing karaoke after the FA Cup Final in May!

Seriously, though, I'd take a chance on the public transport. If you watch it in town and get away as soon as the match finishes you'll beat all the traffic. There's a Northern Rail train due to leave Lime Street at 10.18pm which gets into St Helens Junction at 10.46pm, just in time for last orders...
