Great news if true.

I would sell Xabi in the summer and sign an excellent partner to Torres. Gerrard and Lucas can do the same job as Xabi.

Guthrie could be fourth choice but I would more or less play two or three of Lucas, Gerrard, Masch week in week out.

And Jay Spearing can be 4th or 5th choice CM. I'd sell Xabi TBH. We would make a tidy profit and the money can be used to bring us some badly needed flair
