Can't say I'm as delighted as you lot. Masher's a good player - and to be fair he's been one of our better players of late - but I'd have preferred the money spent elsewhere.

I'm happy he'll be signing permanently. I can't help but wonder where the £18m is coming from though considering we're going to have to stump up £30m in interest repayments this year.

H&G have taken a battering on here so lets hope they've done something right and they have the financial side sewn up now. I know it's asking alot but maybe we've just gotta have some faith in their business acumen.

It could be next week before it's announced apparently. He's registered with us and the deal wont kick in until his loan finishes so they're in no rush apparently.

All they're doing now is getting it made official so that his future is sorted but they don't have to go through the F.A. today etc... because it's not a deadline day deal as such.
