The loan deal for Liverpool's Besian Idrizaj has collapsed after the player backtracked on the deal at the last possible minute.

The player -- who is currently still registered as on loan to Crystal Palace -- had agreed to join the club following talks with Latics officials.

He seems to loan them out though and then ...nothing. Hammill and Anderson were expected to come intot he team this year after last years loans. Guthrie has looked good this season at Bolton so no doubt he'll be signed by Bolton. Idrizaj looks the best of the lot and he is on about his fifth loan!

IMO, if we loan players we should try loan them to other prem clubs (maybe except for their first loan) or there's not too much point.

Idrizaj has a lot of ability, but can't quite put it all together on the pitch - perhaps lacks the right 'mentality'? Hah...

Anyways, we're not missing out with these two.

It'll be more interesting when it comes to the summer and we see what becomes of Guthrie, Hammill and Anderson.

To get in the Liverpool team, they really need to be the best player in their division and that aint happening.

Hammill is playing at last, but hardly setting the world alight. Idrizaj couldn't get in the Palace team. Anderson doing well but not good enough for LFC. Same for Guthrie.

I would loan Hammill and Anderson again and maybe have a look at Guthrie in pre season. I've said in a previous thread that Guthrie is good enough for 4th choice.

Spearing,San Jose,El Zhar,Leto,Insua,Lindfield should be all loaned out to Championship or Premier clubs.Arsenal sent two kids on loan to championship club today.
Both played in the youth FA cup defeat this week and will come on bigtime for it.
Playing the odd reserve game is no good and with a few postponements lately these boys have not played much competitive football.
We are holding them back rather than helping them progress and get valuable experience.
