Not 100% accurate but one thing is for sure. We have bought some real **** players!!!! No wonder we cant win the prem! Other thing is Wenger seems to be a transfer genius. Last thing. Ronaldo 12,2 million best buy if the lot.

The problem is that most of those fees weren't released, we have no idea of the agents fees etc involved so calculation of the nett spend is always basically guesswork.

Most of the fees are performance related these days and that is only taken into account on one I saw in my quick browsing (Reyes). It fails to account for young players (bought and sold) which add up to £ms for both us and more particularly Arsenal.

It even includes us having Barragan in but as far as I can see doesn't include his sale.

So it may be a fair reflection with all the errors cancelling out but I doubt it.

If i remember correctly we got him for nothing, but sold him for £2m. Probably the only Houiller player we made anything on.

I totally agree. WENGER IS A GENIUS. He spend half of what Fergie spends and he is challenging again for the title. He does nor buy ****e players and if he buys he gets rid of them at the right price!

Wenger is prone to the odd blunder. I think though when he has spent big he has got it right.

He has done well though buying younger players cheaply and bringing them in like Toure, Eboue and Clichy and Fergie got a bunch of talent coming through the youth ranks for nothing.

Hopefully the lads that we have signed over the past couple of years or so will have a similar impact the Arsenal lads have had on their first team.

Not sure if Reyes was a hit at £18m neither RichardWright at £6m and as above Jeffers. Taking aside his bad buys his good buys have been bloomin brilliant and if that spreadsheet is there or thereabouts -£55m is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

I think its easy to forget that fungus had a stroke of luck with Beckham, Nevilles, Scholes, Butt. Personally, I think Fungus is actually quite poor in buying players. Rio, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Hargreaves not exactly 'finds' were they?

oh ffs why was that head in sand phrase invented,dimwits keep using it.

when you can afford to spend nearly 30 mil on a striker your getting the right striker,same goes for your defenders and midfielders.

when you have less than 30 mil to spend on all three together your probably not getting the right players,there fore probably spending that amount every summer.

the fact that they can spend 30 mil on one player and still have spent more than us says a lot.
