Mascher looking lively, Gerrard has faded a bit in last 10 minutes.

Lovely ball by Mascher to pick out Pennant, Torres lets it run to Gerrard but Sunderland clear.

Our midfield is a mess, Gerrard and Lucas seem to be all over the place. Got no presence on the left wing.

I completely disagree, Sunderland are defending very well, and deep (no suprise) but we are looking far better than we have recently.

Torres wins a header, Crouch trys to get onto it but headed back to their keeper.

Mascher plays it to Torres on the left, his pass is awful, straight to a Sunderland shirt.

Sunderland come forwad, Mascher goes into Whitehead, free-kick about 35 yards out. Central.

I completely disagree, Sunderland are defending very well, and deep (no suprise) but we are looking far better than we have recently.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but I don't call settled the amount of misplaced passes we are making. That has nothing to do with Sunderland defending so well either.

I agree, the standard of post on here has been pathetic.

We have absolutely no paitence as fans anymore, we want instant gratification.

Pepe trys to get us going, booms the ball down the pitch, straight out for a throw.

Pennant does really well on the right, twists and turns, chips it to the penalty spot, Torres heads it but tamely at Gordon. Torres was challenged just as headed and took a knock.
