We really need to sort out our fullbacks. They are completely static when they should be providing some sort of outlet down the line. The better teams have more attacking full backs. Carra is pretty poor so far in this respect. Too many square balls. We've allowed Sunderland to completely slow down the tempo or the game. Sort it out Rafa!!!

**** off mate we are a sham. I saw a long ball with no central midfield present at all. Crap passing, **** all movement or overlapping runs etc.

Yes I understand unrest and tension, however we are controlling this game, and unsuprisingly Sunderland are defending very deep and in games like this sometimes paitence is needed.

Mate, it's the most clueless line up I've ever seen. Disgraceful selection from Rafa. I'm growing more and more fond of the thoughts of anew manager by the day.

Chopra clattered into, no foul.

Gerrard nice pass over the back for Torres, he shoots but Evans blocks at close range for a corner.

First corner of the match, awful, cleared, Mascher eventually puts it out of play.
