I think Sami is free to go, assuming Agger makes a full recover.

Sami has been a legend but we have Carra, Agger, Skrtel and perhaps Hobbs. That's all we need for next season.

He'll be staying for one more season.

I'd keep Crouch definately (maybe not as 1st choice if we sign more people), Sami should be given chance to stay if he wants, he doesn't have pace but still has a good football brain

I'd keep Crouch without a doubt. We already need to replace Kuyt and Voronin...no need selling Crouch and then needing to bring in three strikers...

Also, with respect to Sami, I'd be happy to see him in a Liverpool shirt as long as he wants to be here. I wouldn't want him to start every game like he has done this season, but he's played very well for us overall. Sure, he's had his share of professional fouls, mainly a result of his lack of pace, but I believe he'd do better with a pacy CB to play alongside. Moreover, Skrtel should be ready to play a larger role next season, and Agger (hopefully) should be healthy again so, if Sami's needed, he should have that pacy partner in central defense...

They are almost 10 players that are vulnerable for the chop, but IMHO Kuyt, Voronin and Riise should be the first three out the door.

He has defo justified a one year contract extension, with his displays this season.

Sell Pennant of???

I really dont understand why most of the people dont appreciate Pennant. He creates swift attacks on the wing and provides a decent ball into the box. With the current squad we would ****ing struggle to create opportunities without him. You can give him the ball on the right at around the half way lie and stay assured that he would successfully take it till the opposition box. In our team not many wingers can do it, even Babel and Yossi cant, let alone the backward looking Kewell and thats obviously one of the main factor that people look for in a wide player. He takes the distribution burden off the rest of the teammates and lets them push into good positions near the box.

Some people cant just be judged by the goals, and he is surely one of them. One of the five players of the current squad whom i would start in every match no matter the opposition along with Gerrard, Carra, Torres and Reina.

I would keep Pennant and Sami.

I second that. Both of them deserve to stay. Sami would be content to play as a 3rd or 4th choice CB and might have two more seasons to offer. His experience would count both on the field and in the dressing room. Pennant is indispensable to our team, end of!

alll atttackers at the top clubs should be judeged on there goal threat, pennant doesnt have a goal threat

Pennant's delivery isnt very good. The only positive is that he doesnt lose possession and moves forward with the ball which cant be said of our other wide players. He had a good game beating players and putting the ball in(which was against sunderland defenders) but he did not put in one telling cross. Infact, Carra did what he was supposed to be doing for us.
At the end of the season, when we are looking for a new winger, out of him, babel, yossi, I know which ones I would like to keep.
