    Pepe Reina

Fastest keeper ever to reach 50 clean cheets, beating Ray Clemence

He`s already my 2`nd best keeper ever and if he keeps this up for one, maybe 2 more seasons then he will even overtake Clemence in my eyes

Well done Pepe, not just for the clean sheets, but for setting up so many attacks as well. Best keeper in the world in my eyes.

Aye, call me blinkered but I think he's just about the best keeper in the world, all things considered.

          Legend in the making.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Rafa shouldn't be judged on 3 months of complete and utter turmoil. I think he has done enough in the previous 3 seasons to allow him our patience and respect.

I like Reina and think he's the best we've had since brucie but he doesn't make enough 'big' saves for me to be considered the best in the world. i thought he could have done a lot better for the arsenal goal at home this season and one of the reading games away he half heartly stuck a leg out and got beat easily. But keepers these days are poorer as is the game in general.

How the **** do you turn a thread congratulating Pepe on beating the great Ray Clemence into a rafa-bashing exercise.

                            You are an arsehole mate:whatever:

I actually don't think Reina is that good a keeper, improvement on the likes of Dudek, James, Westerveld and Kirkland but definitely short of the Cech, Casillas, Buffons of this world.

Reina is rarely ever called into action as a shotstopper (the bread and butter of a goalkeepers skills), the teams approach to defensive play seems to be about denying the opposition chances and Reina with his sweeper style is a part of this..but when it comes to making "clutch saves" apart from the obvious penalty shootout victories I can't think of too many..The Fabregas equaliser earlier this season was one effort he should have saved.
