He's been a tremendous servant to the club and for that he has been very handsomely rewarded. In no way does he deserve further financial reward.

    I'm against testimonials in general.

often they donate the proceedings to charity. Its merely a way of honouring his service.

Can't be arsed with testimonials. An additional waste of money. He deserves status in some way but I'd rather something happen at a game to honour him much like when Carra got his 500 caps.

I'm so proud to have a player like him wearing our shirt. Easily my favourite player of all time.
Aside from his legendary acts on the field for us over the years, he's a gent off the pitch too. He's a model professional. He openly welcomes competition for his position because he knows it will benefit the team, even though it may mean he loses his place in the first XI.

Whilst some supposedly bigger name players are sulking about the field with their heads down, Sami is still giving his all for the shirt.

He is a credit to our club.

            I ****ing love him.

I'd like to think he'd get a contract extension, he can still do a job for us and if anyone deserves a testimonial he does
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Whilst testamonials are a thing of the past, it would be nice to honour Sami if the cash was given to charities.

Sami is quite simply the best foreign player we've ever had at LFC. At his peak he was truely exceptional. Brilliant in the air, a great tackler but his great strength was his positional sense. Not the quickest but didn't need to be as he was always in the right place at the right time.

I think all testimonials these days should be for charity its not like these football players are short of a few bob, whats more important is the fans giving that player a nod and yeah you were a bit special to us and we appreciate it, Sami is that man for sure
