I have to disagree. I also think he should be able to pass the ball better for a player that costs £18M.
Defensively, he's the bees knees though.
Interesting one this. Reina and Masher have been very good consistently all year. Torres has been excellant as has Gerrard and Arbeloa. Pretty close call betwen all of them.
Forget to mention Sami who has been excellant.

Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
Hopefully we can finally get this one sorted out, it seems to have been dragging on forever

Shocked to see him rated 5 out of 10 in the Sunday Mirror though. WTF?!!
Half of these reports are done by people that watch football first on a Saturday night - I'm conveniced of that
I really think you have to see Mascherano live to really appreciate the work he does as sometimes it is hard to see the work he gets through on TV and the little things that make him so effective during the game
I take no notice of the player ratings in the sunday rags to be honest
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

I'm not even convinced they watch that much to be honest, I think they just make numbers up, It seems like players or clubs that are the darlings of the press will get decent ratings however they play while people they want to have a go at will get bad ratings just to prove a point

Very true.
Masher's passing on Saturday was decent, finding players out wide with long range accuracy on a couple of occasions, all in all a very tidy game from him.
