    Stevie hates Rafa's rotation policy!!!

In one of tomorrows papers, not sure which one, he says that he's fed up with sitting on the bench and he hates the rotation policy implemented by Rafa. Apparently he's only started 1 of our last 7 CL games away from home, I didn't know that, and wants to play more!!

This is the first I've read or heard anything about this and it's probably the press doing their best to twist some comments but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Well I never! On the morning of the biggest game of the season so far! Who'da thunk it!

One start in the last seven CL games? Can that be verified by anyone? Surely that's not right?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Away games apparently. I never posted it right first time but I've corrected it now.

Yeah, I agree with you about the timing. Wasn't it about the same time before the charity shield that the blue scum were linked with riise?!

Anyone watch, & thereby listen to, Football Saturday on SSN/SS1 today?

Everyone slammed the rotation policy currently in place, suggesting no-one even knows who our strongest team is, and that we should find our strongest team and rest/rotate from then on in.

I would agree that playing with a settled side is the best way to go but Rafa is just trying to be a bit to clever at the moment. He seems determined to put the freshest team out on the pitch rather than the best team and it has to stop soon.

I didn't see that today and while I'd be interested in Thommo's thoughts, I couldn't give a toss what Charlie (by name and by nature) Nicholas and Matt Le Tossier have to say.

Personally I think we're (the squad) are still paying for the ridiculous number of games we've played in the last 14 months.
Rafa is trying to give the players who have played the most games a rest.

Yeah, it's amazing how every time we play Chav$ki another story about problems in our camp appears in the papers. Incredible coincidence...

Sounds like southern journos trying to unsettle our players on the eve/morning of a vitally important game.

I reckon Stevie probably went further and slagged off some current players, rafa's wife and the fans in general but the papers decided not to publish the whole story as they didn't want anybody getting upset.
