Sorry if this comes across as all Milkman-esque but the "famous goalkeeper" on YNWA has hinted that Stevie may start on the left today.

"I think we may try someone new there tomorrow."

Someone suggests a midfield of:

Pennant Alonso Sissoko Gerrard

...to which he replied..."very possibly".

If this happens it would be a clear indication that Rafa is unhappy with Gonzalez and Aurelio. Disconcerting.

Playing Aurelio or Gonzalez and Warnock on the Left will be a Weak area IMO. That's why I can understand playing Gerrard there. It will also have Gerrard playing against the Chelski RB? which is their obvious weakness.

Playing Aurelio or Gonzalez and Warnock on the Left will be a Weak area IMO. That's why I can understand playing Gerrard there. It will also have Gerrard playing against the Chelski RB? which is their obvious weakness.

Agreed, an indication that Rafa is unhappy with the players at left-back perhaps more than left-wing.

I know people are pretty indifferent to him sometimes, but this shows how important Riise is

If Stevie starts on the left I wouldn't expect him to stay there. He'll move out to the right and cut in through the middle as an when he sees fit. The one thing concerns me about that is who we play at left back because the chavs could target that area on the counter.
