Chelsea's defence will keep Bellamy in their pocket all game! IMHO of course

Kuyt deserves to start but I'm not convinced him & Crouch would make a decent partnership.
I think Crouch should start as well. I would put Bellamy in as his partner though...

But I have a hunch it'll be Garcia instead...

I agree 100% We had no pace last week. That cost us the game. Either Agger at CB or Pennant, Gonzalez or Bellamy's pace would have made the difference

No one would disagree, their defence is soooo wooden its untrue. Why Bellamy was left out i'll never know!

I can only assume he wanted to deploy Bellamys pace away in Europe, and he was tired after those meaningless games for the welsh!

Rafa has got it wrong a lot this season

Just like they kept Bellamy in their pocket when he crossed for Crouch in the CS?

I'm really not sure about that.Any defender will tell you they would rather play aginst strengh and height intead of pace and real skill.

Bellamy scored twice at the Bridge last season for Blackburn. Could be in Rafa's thinking? Horses for courses?

I think history has proven that...

one should never judge from a Charity/Community Shield game...

I honestly can't see us geting anything from the game anyway, hopefully I'll be eating my words come half past 3!

One was a pen and the other was from a poor mistake by Cech though.

He's no better than Cisse, in my opinion.

And he wont get near Djib's 19 goals from last season.

You just reminded me of Djibril Cisse and the endless Cisse threads at the old Koptalk...

                                Thank god he has left...
