Rafa's win ratio compared to past LFC managers

Saw this on his Wiki page, so thought I'd compare him to former LFC managers:

    Rafa:

    Team Nat From To Record
    P W L D Win %
    Valencia July 1, 2001 June 16, 2004 163 87 33 43 53.37
    Liverpool June 16, 2004 Present 200 115 48 37 57.5

    Uncle Bob:

Team From To Games Won Lost Drawn Win %
    Liverpool 26-07-1974 23-05-1983 490 275 91 124 56.12

    Shanks:

Team From To Games Won Lost Drawn Win %
    Liverpool 1959 1974 753 393 175 185 52.19

    King Kenny:

    Team Nat From To Record
    G W L D Win %
    Liverpool May 30, 1985 February 22, 1991 297 180 41 76 60.60

Doesn't look to shabby compared to the greats above (think it's only league games for all the above).

Rafa's the only manager above that's actually lost more league games than he's drawn.

Looked for Houllier's, but didn't have it on Wiki.

I did something like this the other day, but looking at how many league points per game each manager has won since Dalglish.

I was surprised to find Thommo came out on top! He had 24 games in charge when Ged was sick, and got 49 points, or 2.04 on average. Dalglish was about 2.07, Souness was 1.5, Houllier 1.7 and Rafa 1.8
Unlce Roy was 1.7, fractionally ahead of Ged. (I excluded the period when they were in joint command (av. 1.3pts)
    Really?

Yeah Thommo did a great job that was the season we finished 2nd wasn't it?

I always remember mates of mine giving Roy Evans stick and saying Houllier's record wwas much better, they were shocked when they found out how close league records were.

Any idea what the records of other premiership managers are, Ferguson, Wenger Mourinho etc?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

That was the season we finished second, yes. Always stuck in my craw that Ged got so much credit for it. I remember our form went right downhill when Ged came back!

Sorry, got no ideas about their records, but I did work out how many points per game it takes to win the title - it's definitely getting harder.

Yeah I never thought Phil Thompson got the credit he deserved for that either
