G, as one of Crouchie's biggest promoters, surely you remember the start he made to his LFC career? For me Kuyt looks to have all the attributes to be a massive success for us, just needs a couple to hit the net and he'll be off. The guy's all-round play is nothing like Kezman's, he'll be fine and a big asset to us, you'll see

I think that particular Crouch comment was a little unwisely worded mate, much though we all share and understand your frustration.

Fair point but Crouch didn't come with this reputation of being the solution to all our goal scoring problems. He came with everyone expecting him to fail. You can't say the same about Kuyt.

Overall we played really well today apart from our finishing. we had the best 4 or 5 chances of the game but couldn't convert any of them. They didn't really have 1 clear chance but Drogba created something out of nothing.

hugely frustrating game bit if you miss chances you get punished. we missed far too many chances. Reminded me of Man Utd away last season. we were the better team but couldn't score.

Overall, a good performance but no goals & no points. A nail in our league title chances but not the final nail some would have you believe. However, if our title chances aren't to finish in Setp/Oct, we need to start winning now. If we win our game in hand, we will be 5 points behind Man U & Chelsea. Between now & Xmas we need to win at least as many points as they do. If we do, the title challenge will still be very much on come the new year. If we don't it will be another year with no league title.

someone who saw the same game I did The rest of you miserable ****ers, trust me, if we somehow managed to convert just 2 of our 4 or 5 clear goalscoring opportunities you wouldnt be slating our performance. We werent great, no. But we were better than chelsea and created far more opportunities to score. stevey g being the biggest culprit imo. We will win the league

What worries me is that we still don't have an out and out goalscorer in the squad, to take chances like we created today, and have been doing, hopefully Kuyt fills that hole, but his finishing worries me.

Why didn't Crouch play today?, he's bang in form. Why no Garcia or Gonzalez in the squad?, Zenden instead?

Pennant worries me, he doesn't look LFC standard or anything like it. He was awful today, his touch, passing and crossing were a joke at times. Cisse might as well been there instead of him. Not impressed.

Bellamy isn't the answer. Not good enough. I'm almost positive he's a stopgap signing, or I hope he is.
