Great first half - couldnt have asked for much more ...apart from a goal

Everyones playing well - we are bossing the MF. Lampard isnt even playing. Yukalele is hard to get by but Babel, Lucas, Mascher, Stevie and Crouch attacking well as a group. Kuyts been a good option on the right as he finds space and weve had the best chances.

Pepe not had to do anything substantial partly due to great closing down on long shots by our defense.

Not too sure on that one. Harry doesnt track back and hassle like Kuyt. Kuyts work rate (at least today) is a positive thing as he keeps Cashley pinned back. Id worry that Barry would open up our right side to Cashley and potatoe head to attack more and wed be weakened somewhat.

We're playing well, the better team so far. If we take a gamble or two we could get all three points here but anything could happen in the 2nd half.

We'll match them up 4-3-3. Kuyt and Babel out wide.

Look at it this way it means Kuyt can do what he does best; track back and chase lost causes.

That's pretty much what happened first half too.

Kuyt's been pretty effective today out on the right, put in some good balls too.

Quite a decent first half, we've done pretty well overall. Skrtel's been decent, Mascher is a monster, and Lucas is allowing Gerrard some free reign. Midfield passing's been good too. I like this team, with Torres out its about the best we could have put out today imo.

I hope they get what they deserve after the performance so far, no slagish Mike Riley moments please.
