                1. Mascherano - just ****ing awesome. The best player on the park by a country mile.

                2. Skrtel - I like this kid. I like him a lot. Although it's still very early, on paper, a Skrtel/Agger CB pairing looks a potentially very tasty one.

                3. Crouch - Led the line well.

                Fair play to Kuyt who, while there was the usual plethora of stray passes, did well in a role he clearly isn't suited to and supplied two or three good crosses.

                  Sorry folks I like Mascher..I really do... and parts of his game are fantastic but can I be controversial here and point out that he can't pass for sh1t ? Watch the game, indeed any game, and time and time again he wins excellent ball then looses possession with some terrible passing. Sorry to ruin the love in or maybe I am delusional ?

                        i didnt see much of that at all actually. thought he was very good all round. some very good passes. one great cross field ball.
