    What should we expect?

Okay, I've been thinking about this and are we as good as we think we are. When Rafa took over we were poor in the league and we won the European Cup, many said we overachieved that season and we probably did, more than any of us could realistically have expected.

Than last season we has a poor start like this season but got off to a flyer got a decent points tally in the league and not far from the top. We won the FA cup, but many would consider we were lucky.

So now this season we were built up as title contenders for the first time in a few years, and so far have failed to deliver. I'd honestly be surprised if we did any better than third this year. But I never expected us to win the the league anyway, 2nd was the best I'd realistically hoped for.

So are we actually good enough to be challenging for the title or is it all pie in the sky?

We're not good enough but we can expect better than a point a game because that's relegation form.

We can expect not to get gubbed by Everton.
We can expect to put 10 men Chavski under pressure.
We can expect our star player to be played in position and when playing him out of position doesn't work, we can expect him to be moved back into position.
We can expect better than 0 goals in 3 games considering the 15 million pounds we've paid for strikers this summer and the 8 million we paid for a winger to supply said strikers.
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

We should be able to mount a credible challenge without having to /settle/ for a CL spot before the season has started.

All these players can expect LFC fans to show them a bit more support while they bed into the team FFS.
