After reading the bbc gossip column I think we know which paper pushed this story yesterday and I have to say I'm not suprised the story was pulled from websites. Would fit in with a paper that has an axe to grind as well.
I am not mentioning the name of the paper for a reason and am disgusted if it was the source.

I think a quote is ok but a link is a NO NO. Right? It's the only channel with any information about DIC and Liverpool and therefor highly relevant.

I have to agree with all of that and I am guessing he is probally thinking its not worth dragging his families name through the Mud for a business which not quite as straight forward as it originally seemed.

Well, I hate to keep repeating this point which I seem to have mentioned probably every week in the last year on here, but perhaps if they did their due diligence properly instead of that three day nonsense which our board was seemingly so impressed with then perhaps they would have had a much better idea of what they were purchasing.

I agree with you about G&H's poor due diligence but to be fair to Moores once DIC had pulled out they were the only game in town. I think he made a mistake (albeit and understandable one) in that he wasn't willing to go down the loan route himself and maybe look at getting a minority investor in and for example those involved in the redevelopment work to take a stake (as for example your friend in North London did).
