I think that we might start to see another new anti-Rafa campaign from the News Corp group of papers (S*n & NOTW particularly) after Rafa called them out on being a bunch of lying *******s at the weekend on national TV
They'll start dropping trouble stirring hints like that along with awful pieces like Redknapp's that they're running today.

I'm from Australia and have never laid eyes on the "rag" or a "NOTW" but even I can see they have an agenda ATM to help/facilitate/say anything to get Rafa the sack.

While he continues to underachieve his position will always be in question/jeopardy whether there is an agenda against him of not. I personally dont see any vendetta against him, but rather speculation which is inescapable given that we are fighting for 4th Spot in the league.

That beasley article was admittedly a disgrace though.

As was Bascombe's piece in the NOTW online edition last week. May not have been CB but the fact it was out there suggest it is agenda driven. Unless you would prefer to believe that some pleb forgot to read what he was meant to print and assumed the protest was about Rafa!

If you were to give me the option now of getting rid of the Americans but only if Rafa goes too, I would reluctantly accept.

But as Joni Mitchell would say, you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone.

For all his faults, we'll miss Rafa a lot more than we might realise.

All reports points to Gilett looking to sell. Rafa hasn`t got the best history with Hicks, so if Hicks stay with a new partner it`s likely that Rafa leaves. I really don`t belive the kiss-and-make-up stories, I think Rafa is still in the job because G&H didn`t want to upset the fans even more than they did with the finance problems.
If new 100% owners comes in it would be expected that they would want their own man in. Rafa hasn`t got the record to make him un-touchable, like Ferguson had.

My guess is they won`t say anything before they own the club, and that would be a wise move IMO.
