dont underestimate the fallout if benitez is replaced: key players like reina and torres will have to reevaluate their positions. sure they cant just have a strop and demand to leave but its likely to affect their mood, motivation and form.

the best option is to back benitez with the players he needs nd hope HE learns the lessons that he doesnt seem to so far.

redknapps comments remind me about what people were saying about ginsoak back in 1991/2. considering the quality of players weve bought since benitez came comared to our 3 main rivals. I give him 9.5/10 for performance overall.

The steps to make our current squad into champions are much smaller than people think - its hairbreadth margins at the top level of football.
sacking benitez is just as likely to pull the wheels off the side and take years to turn around

So all the fuss about how GG and GH treated Rafa and all of a suden DIC are not too keen either!
      Yet everyone STILL wants them.....

So why not keep the current bunch?
      Stadium IS being built
      Squad will improve

That was 'Big Yellow Taxi' by Joni Mitchell, a song in which Joni complains they ‘Paved paradise to put up a parking lot’, a measure which actually would have alleviated traffic congestion on the outskirts of paradise, something which Joni singularly fails to point out, perhaps because it doesn’t quite fit in with her blinkered view of the world. Nevertheless, nice song!

Maybe that's why she laughs at the end. It could be an ironic laugh borne from the fact she knows she is talking ****e, yet at the same time influencing generations of treehuggers. The mischievious little ****er!
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
