Maybe after the leak of the 7 year exit plan last year have caused DIC to put some sort of gagging order on the press or something to that extent? As a lot of creditable journalists were banging on about the takeover a few weeks back the all of a sudden they shut up or some slightly backtracked.

I have seen quite a few posts of late from people that say they have come back from dubai and apparently its all over the news there.

The funny thing about that though is that no news is to be found on dubai based papers, tvs etc. when looking on the net. I would have thought that reports would of this magnitude would be available by the internet as well, and nothing seems to come up...

Agree after the embarrassment of loosing out last time I think DIC does not want any more unwanted publicity until the deal is done and dusted. Moreover they seem to be the quiet type. After they pulled out Sameer Al Ansari talked to the media about it only twice. First explaining the reasons they pulled out. Second when Moores and Parry were taking some potshots at DIC he clarified their stance.
