In your first post, the one I quoted, you admit that you don't even know who Jimmy Melia is. An important player in Shankly's set up, not the most important perhaps, but still significant. Yet you have Shankly in your username. You then go on to say that you're not having a go at a 70' odd year old, but an ex player.... Hang on - you didn't even know that he's an ex - player.

Even if you are too young to know who Jimmy Melia is, you must be old enough to know that the history of this club didn't begin when YOU started supporting us. For **** sake, have some respect, if you don't know who he is, save us your ignorance and look him up. Calling him a no mark is well out of order. And YES you should be embarassed, and no, it is not 'mock hysterics'. I genuinely think you are an embarassment.


Incidentally, I don't agree with what he is doing either, but I damn well know who he is.

Does Melia believe Hicks' ownership is in the best interests of the club? If he does he;s an idiot, if he doesn't he is complicit in trying to pull the wool over the fan's eyes. Neither paints him in a good light. So he really should shut up with this agenda-laden drivel.

I agree with you, but it's a pointless argument.

With regards to Melia, he may not understand what's going on. Let's just agree with each other that he is spouting rubbish and leave it at that. At the end of the day he lives in Texas and probably has more contact than anyone on this site who remarks about Hicks.

Better men than Melia were fooled by the Yank PR campaign. I personally screamed blue murder when Moores sold to the Yanks, but I was quickly won over by their charm offence in the media. They certainly said theright things.

But actions speak louder than words, and they have failed us.

fair enough lets pretend all of that,but lets assume at the same time that as an ex player you more than likely keep in touch with ex team mates,as well as family members back home in britain.

because im assuming that although you may not be on the internet you do have a phone and you are capable of string a few sentences together in a letter.

now because you are an ex player im assuming liverpool comes up quite often
in those letters and telephone calls.

plus if you know the teams failings and what the team could do with im pretty
sure your clued in on whats going on at the club.
