How do you know his financial situation. I think it is clear GG has been struggling to find necessary funds but Hicks situation is unknown surely.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

That is what the 24 hour deadline is all about. Hicks at same time is bluffing about that he has the money.
      Fookin hope so!!!

Reports today suggested that he now has the capital to do so but Hicks told the ECHO that such speculation is "premature".

        Probably bull****.

Prestige and status are enormously important to Arabs and capturing LFC would be a huge part of Dubai's promotion campaign.

            DIC won't overpay for assets.

Hicks won't back down because of an ultimatum.

This is merely a PR move by DIC.

The bid will never be accepted.

            We are ****ed.

            Period.

I was going off reports that were suggesting a struggle to raise funds.

thats interesting considering they are now offerring almost double than they did 12 months ago. has the clubs value increased that much in a year?

If I would make a guess then I would say that DIC will win this battle. There is no way that Hicks want to wait 10+ years to make a profit.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                      The club's value? No.

                      The club's potential value? Yes.

It's wierd. Were talking about top businessmen here, on both sides. People who wheel and deal, and probably know more about high finance than everybody on this site combined, and suddenly after months of apparent negatoiations its a 24 hour take it or leave it situation. It just doesnt sound very professional to me.
And all this 'I think another 25million will be enough' , or ' £100million is small change to them' is so ****ing laughable. Christ people, this isnt monopoly theyre playing here, get real.

This is weird. All this haggling, months of it infact, and now a 24hr deadline! I am not confident, this sounds like a PR exercise by DIC to walk away with reputation intact. Then again what the **** do I know

G&H are in it for profit, so the more they're offered, the more likely they'd sell. What's radical about that?

It would seem its almost at an end though with DIC going public about the negotiations and a suppossed 24 hr deadline. Hicks wants more money and has said no them by the look of it and DIC have had enough.

Do we think that DIC will definitely wallk for good if the offer isnt accepted today?

Or is this "Call My Bluff"?
